Double Darling Ranges

Hello and happy Sunday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of things you love. I had a lovely weekend although I did not touch my sewing machine. Since I last wrote we actually found a flat in Düsseldorf we want to move in. The move is planned for early June already so the pressure is on! We will already get the keys in two weeks time which is really cool for preparing everything before the actual move. Naturally, my mind is completely occupied with the organization of the move and - most of all - finding new furniture and decoration inspiration. Yesterday we spent an hour or so in the new flat measuring all spaces and planning which bit will go where and what we still need to buy. Since the new place will be bigger and a good part of our current furniture is crappy and cheap Ikea stuff, we will need to find a lot of new things. Apart from the financial aspect I'm actually completely freaking out due to excitement and I can't sleep anymore because I'm dreaming of sofas and dressing tables. Btw, why is there absolutely no intersection between "sofas I like" and "sofas I can afford"? Well, anyway, let's get back to self-made garments. 

Because of all the holidays lately I did manage to sew some things. So today I can actually show you two garments that I loved making and now love wearing. They were made from the same pattern, Darling Ranges by Megan Nielsen. The first is a denim dress and the second is a loosely fitting tunic. To make the tunic, you just lengthen the bodice of the dress pattern and skip the darts when sewing. Megan has included this variation in the instructions that come with the late version of the pattern (I used the downloadable pdf). If you have an older version, this tutorial will help.

Hallo zusammen an diesem sonnigen Sonntag! Ich hoffe ihr hattet alle ein tolles Wochenende! Meines war super, obwohl ich die Nähmaschine nichtmal ausgepackt habe. Seit meinem letzten Post haben wir tatsächlich eine Wohnung in Düsseldorf gefunden, den Mietvertrag unterschrieben und die alte Wohnung gekündigt. Wir werden schon Anfang Juni umziehen, deswegen wird es wohl die nächsten Wochen ein bisschen hektisch werden. Wir bekommen den Schlüssel für die neue Wohnung schon in zwei Wochen, was natürlich großartig ist um schon ein paar Dinge vor dem tatsächlichen Umzug zu erledigen. Das heißt aber auch, dass ich zurzeit gedanklich hauptsächlich mit der Einrichtung der neuen Wohnung beschäftigt bin. Gestern waren wir nochmal dort um ein paar Maße zu nehmen und haben ein bisschen geplant. Die neue Wohnung ist ein bisschen (viel) größer als die jetzige und einen Großteil unserer Möbel wollen/können wir nicht mitnehmen. Ich flippe also schier aus vor lauter Möbel-Kauflust und kann schon garnicht mehr richtig schlafen. Ich träume von Sofas und von vintage-Schminktischen und Wandfarben. Es macht mich verrückt, dass es offensichtlich keinerlei Schmittmenge gibt zwischen "Sofas, die mir gefallen" und "Sofas, die ich mir leisten kann". Wir werden also noch viel Zeit in Möbelhäusern verbringen. Aber naja, back to business jetzt!

Wegen der ganzen Feiertage in letzter Zeit bin ich trotzdem ein bisschen zum Nähen gekommen. Heute kann ich also gleich zwei neue Kleidungsstücke zeigen, die ich absolut liebe und auch auch mit großer Freude genäht habe. Beide wurden mit den selben Schnittmuster ertstellt, Darling Ranges von Megan Nielsen. Das erste Teil ist ein Jeans-Kleid und das zweite eine luftige Sommerbluse. Um aus dem Kleid-Schnitt eine Bluse zu machen, verlängert man einfach das Oberteil und lässt beim Nähen die Abnäher weg. Mittlerweile ist diese Anpassung auch im Schnittmuster und Megans's Anleitung enthalten. Wer eine ältere Version des Schnittes hat, kann sich dieses Tutorials bedienen.

I had the pattern stored for a while and I craved to make something with the lovely chambray I bought at a fabric markt in Venlo alreaday some weeks ago. I wanted a denim dress that is casual and comfy but I didn't want anything too baggy.  It took me some time to make up my mind that the two will be a perfect pairing but when I did it was like lightning striking.

Ich hatte sowohl das Schnittmuster schon lange auf der To Do-Liste als auch den Chambray eine Weile rumliegen (vom Stoffmarkt in Venlo). Als ich die beiden endlich gedanklich zusammengeführt hatte, hat es in meinem Hirn "Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding" gemacht. Volltreffer. Ich wollte nämlich ein Jeanskleid, das locker und bequem sitzt aber auch nicht einfach ein langes Jeans-Hemd ist. Das Darling Ranges ist perfekt dafür!

The back of the Darling Ranges dress originally has a lot of ease which is gathered with the help of a tie. I didn't realize this before I had cut my fabric since there are almost no pictures on the internet of the back of the dress, also because I didn't read the instructions properly and no, I didn't make a muslin and apparently I was generally somewhere else with my thoughts (sofas probably). I was quite shocked at first when I saw that I could stick two fists under the bodice in the back. But I fixed it very quickly by adding two darts to the finished bodice. Megan also has a tutorial for this on her blog - which I also didn't read before the dress was finished. Well, the dirty way worked out just fine as me thinks.

Eigentlich hat das Darling Ranges Dress ein sehr weites Rückenteil, das außen mithilfe eines aufgenähten Gürtelchens zusammengehalten wird. Das hatte ich bis ich den Stoff zugeschnitten hatte noch gar nicht bemerkt (keine Bilder von der Kleider-Rückseite im Internet, Anleitung nicht gelesen, natürlich kein Probeteil gemacht, Gedanken beim Möbel-Einkauf). Ich war erstmal ziemlich geschockt als ich das Oberteil anprobierte und hinten zweimal meine Faust unter dem Kleid unterbringen konnte. Als der Schock verdaut war habe ich einfach - quick & dirty - noch zwei Abhäher am Rückenteil eingebaut. Die Nähschlampigkeit wurde nicht bestraft, ich mag es so wie es ist!

 

To get the classic denim look I was planning to add little mother-of-pearl poppers just like on rtw denim shirts. I searched everywhere (online and offline) but couldn't find smaller ones than these. They have this mother-of-pearl look but they'd definitely be too big for a shirt. These are from Prym which seems to be the only source for such poppers. I still would like to have smaller ones for a future project, so if you see some, please holler at me.

Ich wollte einen ziemlich klassischen Jeans-Hemden-Stil und wollte daher unbedingt diese ganz kleinen Perlmutt/Silber-Druckknöpfe anbringen, die an gekaufter Ware oft dran ist. Aber denkste! Es war und ist komplett unmöglich, solche Druckknöpfe zu finden. Im Internet hatte ich kein Glück und erst der dritte Kölner-Stoffladen hatte zumindest welche im gleichen Stil, aber leider nur viel größer als gewünscht (im von sämtlichen Kölner Näh-Bloggerinnen gehassten, von mir aber heiß-geliebten Stoffe Müller). Diese Dinger scheint es ausschließlich von Prym zu geben und das natürlich auch zu Prym-Preisen. Die ganzen Knöpfe machen das Kleid also jetzt ziemlich wertvoll. Ich hätte immernoch gerne kleinere solche Druckknöpfe für andere Projekte, also wer welche findet, der gibt mir bitte Bescheid!

As a little extra, I bound the sleeve hems with a small cuff and added a tab with a popper to keep the sleeves above my elbows. I just fiddled these on after the dress was finished and I love this detail A LOT.  It makes the dress a little less dressy, don't you think?

Da ich sie schonmal hatte (Sechser-Packs natürlich), habe ich auch noch an den Ärmeln zwei Drucknöpfe und ein Band angebracht um die Ärmel nach oben zu raffen. Gefällt mir richtig gut so und gibt dem Kleid noch das letzte Finish, wie ich finde!

I made the dress over the Easter weekend when my parents also where in town visiting. On Saturday I had to show my mother Cologne's fabric stores (she's a sewist too) and of course I didn't go home emtpy handed. This lovely batiste (I think it's a cotton rayon blend) screamed so loud because it wanted me to take it home. It's of a very fine quality and it falls very softly. Although the colour is brighter than what I usually wear, the pattern is exactly what I wanted to have surrounding my face.

I thought about what to do with the fabric for a while but when I had finished the denim dress, I knew I just had to do a second darling ranges. The tunic version sans darts is perfect for a soft fabric and the design is simple enough to be used with such a busy print.

Das Kleid hatte ich am Osterwochenende genäht als auch meine Eltern zu Besuch waren. Ich MUSSTE natürlich mit meiner Mutter die Kölner Stoffläden abklappern - sie näht auch fleißig und bestand darauf ;-) Ich war eigentlich nur auf der Suche nach diesen vermalledeiten Druckknöpfen, aber ein bisschen Stoff wollte halt auch mit mir nach Hause kommen. Diesem wunderbaren Vogel-Stoff, ein Batist aus Viskose (und wahrscheinlich auch ein bisschen Baumwolle, hab mal wieder nicht geschaut, seufz) konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Der Stoff fühlt sich himmlisch an und fällt auch ganz weich.

Erst war ich unentschlossen, was aus diesem Träumchen werden sollte und hab den Stoff ein paar Tage lang nur angestarrt (und ihn kurzzeitig als Vorhang missbraucht). Aber als das Jeans-Kleid fertig war, bot es sich an, auch gleich noch die Blusenversion auszupobieren. Der Schnitt ohne Abnäher ist super für so einen weich fallenden Stoff und ist auch simpel genug für so ein wildes Muster. Nochmal "Ding, Ding, Ding".

This version actually has a narrow hem at the sleeves with some elastic encased. After it was almost finished I let it hand on my dress form for a couple of days because I didn't dare to sew buttonholes into this delicate fabric, I was so afraid I would ruin the whole garment. Since tiny mother-of-pearl poppers still did not find the way into my private haberdashery and I already had the perfect buttons at home, I took a deep breath and finished the tunic with ordinary buttonholes on Thursday. I spend some time practising on a scrap of the actual fabric and checked the adjustments on my machine a hundred times. It was nerve wrecking but my buttonholes turned out very pretty and I didn't ruin the garment. For me this is the perfect spring & summer blouse and I will wear the hell out of it. It's also something I can and will wear both in my free time and also at work, depending on the styling.

An der Bluse habe ich dann, wie im Schnitt vorgesehen, die Ärmelsäume nur eingeschlagen und ein dünnes Gummiband eingenäht. Als eigentlich alles fertig war habe ich noch ein paar Tage voller Angst vor den Knopflöchern verstreichen lassen, meine NäMa macht die nämlich nicht automatisch. Die perfekten Knöpfe hatte ich im Arsenal, alles Zögern half also nicht. Ist aber alles gut gegangen! Ich mag die Bluse sehr, die wird im Frühling/Sommer bestimmt viel getragen. Das Gute ist, dass sie auch noch sowohl freizeit- also auch arbeitstauglich ist. Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding.

Emery Potpourri

Wow, starting this blog post feels a bit like finally dialling the number of a good friend you should have called for months. Can't believe my last entry is from January! In the meantime the first three months of the year have already passed and spring has arrived. My absence from my little online space is mostly due to the fact that I started a new job in February. The new job not only requires more focus and dedication (you have to show some commitment, don't you?), it also requires me to commute to Düsseldorf every day. Only the commute takes up at least 10 hours of sewing (and blogging) time in a week. I have been working on sewing projects whenever I could and I'm getting better at doing little chunks here and there in the evenings, but blogging had to step back.

Now the projects that want to be documented are piling up and a couple of days ago I realized that I will never ever catch up. I think I will have to do a multi-project catch up blog post soon. I also started this blog as a project catalogue for myself, so I will at least document the garments I made and make a wrap up of the last three months of sewing.

 Puh, das ist hart. Diesen Blogeintrag anzufangen ist wie eine alte Freundin nach Monaten endlich mal wieder anzurufen. Erst schafft man es nicht anzurufen und dann macht es einem das schlechte gewissen immer schwerer und schwerer. Mein letzter Eintrag ist tatsächlich vom Januar! Jetzt ist das erste Vierteljahr schon wieder vorbei und der Frühling macht sich breit. Der Hauptgrund warum ich nicht zum bloggen gekommen bin (neben dem schlechten Gewissen) ist, dass ich im Februar einen neuen Job angefangen habe. So ein neuer Job verlangt eben doch erstmal mehr Fokus. Außerdem pendle (pendele?) ich jetzt von Köln nach Düsseldorf, was mir mal eben mindestens zehn Stunden Nähzeit in der Woche nimmt. Ich habe mich so langsam an den neuen Tagesablauf gewöhnt und quetsche mittlerweile auch unter der Woche mal wieder ein bisschen Näh-Zeit ein. Ich habe auch ein paar Teile fertig gestellt, aber der Blog musste eben mal zurückstecken.

Die Projekte, die dokumentiert werden wollen haben sich in letzter Zeit immer mehr angehäuft und irgendwann musste ich mir eingestehen, dass ich das nie wieder aufhole. Wahrscheinlich mache ich in den nächsten Tagen mal einen großen Sammel-Eintrag - schließlich habe ich den Blog auch dazu angefangen um meine Projekte und meinen Fortschritt für mich selbst nachvollziehbar zu machen.

At the same time, I'm going to start the usual routine again by showing you a new dress which I wore to a family gathering last Sunday. I made almost the entire dress in a couple of hours and then it took me three weeks to finish the last bits because I could't find the time. But I must say, the dress is very neatly done and the fit is just PER-FECT. It's made up of three different pattern: an Emery bodice, Laurel sleeves and a burda princess dress pleated skirt.

Aber jetzt steige ich einfach mal wieder in die übliche Routine ein und zeige euch ein neues Kleid, das ich letzten Sonntag auf einer Familienfeier getragen habe. Dieses Kleid hatte ich anfangs in ein paar Stunden fast fertig gestellt und dann hat es ganze drei Wochen gedauert um noch die letzten paar Handgriffe zu machen. Es fehlte einfach die Zeit. Ich bin letztlich aber sehr zufrieden, denn das Kleid ist sehr ordentlich verarbeitet und die Passform ist so gut wie noch nie zuvor. Das Kleid ist ein Frankenstein aus drei verschiedenen Schnittmustern: Einem Emery-Oberteil, Laurel-Ärmeln und einem burda-Rockteil.

I really loved my first Emery dress and I had already made some adjustments to the pattern which you can find here. For this version I raised the back neckline a bit. Before cutting into my fabric I used the lining fabric, a cotton batiste, to make a kind of muslin. The first version of the dress was made in a Crepe Georgette with a lot up drape so I wanted to check the fit with the stable cotton first. The lining/muslin turned out perfect so I went on. The outer fabric is a lovely cotton that I got at a fabric sale already in autumn. Obviously, the colours in the fabric are more autumn-y than spring-y but I don't care because these just suit me well.

Ich mochte mein erstes Emery-Weihnachtskleid so sehr, dass ich den schon angepassten Schnitt unbedingt nochmal benutzen wollte. Diesmal habe ich zu den ursprünglichen Anpassungen (hier zum Nachlesen) noch den Halsuasschnitt hinten ein bisschen nach oben gesetzt. Den Schnitt habe ich dann mit dem Futter-Stoff (einem BW-Batist) erstmal ausprobiert. Das erste Emery war ja aus einem flutschigen Crepe Georgette, da musste ich erstmal auf Nummer sicher gehen mit dem Baumwollstoff. Das Oberteil aus dem Futterstoff saß gut und dann konnte ich auch die restlichen Teile aus dem Oberstoff zuschneiden. Der geblümte Stoff ist mal wieder aus dem Betty Barclay-Outlet in Nußloch. Immer wenn ich meine Eltern besuche schaue ich mittlerweile einmal dort vorbei um mich mit Stoff einzudecken (so geschehen mal wieder letzten Samstag). Ich habe den Stoff schon im Herbst gekauft, man sieht es auch an der Farb-Kombi. Aber die Farben stehen mir halt so gut und für mich sind sie frühlingshaft genug.   

Invisible Zip / Nahtverdeckter Reißverschluss

I had the feeling that the gathered skirt of the Emery would be a bit too voluminous with this fabric so I used the pattern from my Evergreen Dress and lengthened it a good bit to fall below the knee. To fit the bodice of the Emery, I had to make the pleats a bit deeper but it worked out just fine. Although I love the details of the Emery like the collar and the bow I omitted these again because the floral print is so busy in itself.

Da der Stoff ziemlich stabil ist wollte ich den Rock nicht raffen und habe stattdessen den Faltenrpck meines Evergreen Dress hergenommen und um einiges verlängert. Um den Rock an das Oberteil anzupassen musste ich die Falten noch ein bisschen tiefer legen, aber nach ein bisschen Fiddelei hat auch das geklappt. Ich mag zwar den Kragen und die kleine Schleife vom Emery sehr gerne aber auch diesmal habe ich sie weggelassen. Ist ja auch schon so genug los mit dem Blumenmuster. 

Pockets! / Taschen!

I took some pictures in the woods last Sunday but I actually hate how they turned out. When I got dressed in the morning it was still quite chilly and I thought that wearing the black tights and flat shoes looked just fine. Well, looking at the pictures it actually didn't. But hey, it's getting warmer around here and I will have many chances to wear the dress without tights. 

Ich hatte am Sonntag die Gelegenheit genutzt ein paar Fotos im Wald zu machen, aber ich bin im Endeffekt so unzufrieden damit sodass die Ausbeute etwas mager ausfällt. Morgens (es war noch ziemlich frisch) fand ich die Idee mit den schwarzen Strumpfhosen und flachen Schuhen noch toll aber im Nachhinein gefällt mir das gar nicht mehr. Naja, es wird ja wärmer und das Kleid wird bestimmt noch ohne Strumpfhosen und mit Sandaletten ausgeführt werden. 

Oh, I forgot to mention that I currently spend another goof part of my free time flat hunting. Since my boyfriend has been doing this commute thing for three and a half years already we are planning a move to Düsseldorf. This will definitely make life a lot easier and the plan includes a sewing room for me too. There's a light at the end of the tunnel!

Ach ja, ich vergaß. Zusätzlichen Freizeit-"Spaß" haben wir uns in letzter Zeit auch noch mit der Suche nach einer neuen Wohnung eingebracht. Da mein Freund ebenfalls nach Düsseldorf pendelt, und das schon seit dreieinhalb Jahren, steht ein Umzug an. Das wird das Leben wieder ein bisschen entspannter machen und mir außerdem ein eigenes Nähzimmer verschaffen. Der Trend geht also definitiv aufwärts!

Finie: Une Robe Bleuet

 

Oh my gaaawwd, it's been so long!  My last post is from last year actually! I never had such a long break between blog posts, but there's got to be a first time, right? The new year has brought some changes and other parts of my life require my attention. I'm going to talk about it in my next post and what the changes mean in terms of sewing and blogging time. I did finish some things lately though and this afternoon was also bright enough to take some photos. So, here's my first me-made dress in 2014! 

Pattern: Robe Bleuet by deer & doe
Fabric:  Baby cord in burnt orange from Buttinette (here), EUR 7.95 per metre

Size: a French 46

Alterations: narrowed the shoulders by about 2 cm 

Puh, jetzt war aber wirklich lange Zeit nix los hier. Ständig musste ich mir in den letzten Wochen von meinem Freund anhören, dass ich meinen Blog ja total vernachlässige und meine Follower enttäusche (er meint das nicht ernst, er will mir nur auf den Keks gehen). Was soll ich sagen? Es gibt halt solche und solche Zeiten. Das neue Jahr bringt ein paar Veränderungen, über die erzähle ich dann vielleicht beim nächsten Mal. Jedenfalls muss ich gerade mehr Energie in andere Dinge stecken und komme nicht so viel zum Nähen, geschweigedenn zum Bloggen. Aber ein bisschen was ist schon entstanden, und heute Mittag war es sogar hell genug um ein paar Fotos zu schießen. So kann ich endlich mal das erste genähte Kleid 2014 zeigen.

Schnitt: Robe Bleuet von deer & doe

Stoff: rostroter Feincord von Buttinette (hier), EUR 7,95 /m

Größe: 46 (französisch)

Anpassungen:  Schultern um 2cm verschmälert

I actually bought the pattern directly from deer & doe a good while ago but I never had the striking idea which fabric I wanted to use with it. During our Christmas holidays I spent a fair amount of time browsing online fabric shops and found this baby cord in this lovely colour. I love the colour so much because it falls into that autumn-leaves palette that really suits me well. Also it somehow reminds me of my childhood. Is anyone else thinking of the early 80s? I don't think that I saw a Bleuet in a cord fabric before but it seemed like a really good match. Eleonore from deer & doe confirmed my plan and so it happened. First when the fabric arrived I was a bit disappointed that it is so thin but actually it's just perfect for my winter version. The dress is warm and cosy but the fabric isn't too stiff so the puffy sleeves still fit under a cardigan.

Das Schnittmuster hatte ich schon vor ein ganzen Weile direkt bei deer & doe bestellt, aber die zündende Idee zur Umsetzung ließ auf sich warten. Ich wollte ein bisschen was Festeres, aber keinen Quilt-Stoff und auch keinen Chambray. In der Weihnachtszeit habe ich einige Zeit mit dem Stöbern durch online-Shops verbracht und da sprang mich dieser Feincord bei Buttinette an. Die Farbe war entscheidend. Alles was in die Herbstlaub-Palette fällt steht mir eben ganz gut, daran muss ich mich halten. Außerdem erinnert der Stoff mich ein bisschen an meine Kindheit. Muss noch jemand außer mir an die frühen 80er denken? Wie auch immer. Ich hatte zwar vorher noch kein Bleuet aus Cord gesehen, aber Eleonore von deer & doe hat mich in meinem Plan bestärkt. So sollte es also sein. Als der Stoff geliefert wurde war ich zwar ein bisschen enttäuscht (er ist schon sehr dünn), aber letztendlich bin ich zufrieden. Er hat genug Stand und hält die 15 Knöpfe und Knopflöcher recht wacker. Trotzdem kann ich über die Puffärmelchen noch eine Weste tragen ohne große Hubbel an der Schultern.

I didn't do a muslin but I narrowed the shoulders of the pattern upfront. This really became a standard adjustment for me by now. With a narrow neckline like this I know that I don't need more than 11cm width at the shoulders (incl. seam allowance) and the pattern had more than 13 cm. Narrowing the shoulders is a really quick and easy adjustment and there is definitely more than one way to do it. This time I use this method.

Ich habe kein Probeteil gemacht aber die die Schultern habe ich vorsorglich gleich mal verschmälert. Das ist für mich mittlerweile absolut Standard. Bei einer Schulternaht die tatsächlich bis zum Hals geht (der Kragen ist ein ganz starkes Indiz dafür), weiß ich dass ich nicht mehr als 11 cm inklusive Nahtzugabe brauche, also musste von den hier über 13 cm was weg. Diese Anpassung ist wirklich einfach und es gibt auch viele Wege zum Ziel. Diesmal habe ich es auf diese Weise gemacht.

 I wouldn't recommend the pattern to newbies - the collar with collar stand, the princess seams, the sleeve cuffs and button holes add some difficulty. The instructions are nicely done but don't give you much explanation for the single steps. I didn't have any problems and didn't need the instructions but still the dress took me ages to finish. I topstitched all seams to make them lay flat and to add some stability. And of course what takes the most time is sewing 15 button holes and attaching 15 buttons. I do both with my machine but only securing all the loose threads in the end by hand took forever.

Der Schnitt verlangt schon ein bisschen Erfahrung - der Kragen mit Kragensteg, die Prinzessnähte und vielleicht auch die Ärmelabschlüsse sind nix für blutige Anfänger. Die Anleitung ist zwar hübsch gemacht, liefert aber meiner Meinung nach nur sehr dürftige Erklärungen für manche Schritte. Auch wenn das alles für mich keine große Herausforderung mehr darstellt, hat es trotzdem bis zur Fertigstellung ziemlich lange gedauert. Ich habe jede einzelne Naht nochmal von außen abgesteppt damit die Nahtzugaben schön flach liegen. Und dann sind da ja noch die 15 Knopflöcher und 15 Knöpfe. Ich habe alle mit der Maschine genäht, aber am Ende wollen die ganzen lohsen Fäden ja noch von Hand gesichert werden. Das hat ge-dau-ert.

Oh and - of course - I didn't have 15 buttons matching my fabric so I ordered these online and the dress had to wait for another couple of days. The little wooden buttons were worth the wait though, don't you think?

Ich hatte natürlich nicht genau die passenden Knöpfe in ausreichender Anzahl also habe ich nochmal welche online bestellt, was für noch mehr Verzögerung sorgte. Aber diese kleinen Holzknöpfe waren es wert, oder?

 

During the sewing process I was so afraid that the dress could be too tight (especially across the bust) that I sewed the seams with a smaller allowance here and there. I find it so difficult to judge the fit on a shirt or dress with buttons until it's finished. Do you have the same problem? Well, it did fit in the end, actually it's a bit too big. It's not too bad and I couldn't change it if I wanted to anway so I'm going to live with it. 

Während des Nähens hatte ich so eine Panik dass das Kleid am Ende spannen könnte dass ich hier und da mal mit einer kleineren Nahtzgabe genäht habe. An Teilen mit Knöpfen finde ich es immer so schwer zu beurteilen ob es passt oder nicht bevor alles fertig ist. Habt ihr das auch? Es wäre so schlimm gewesen wenn am Ende alles gepasst hätte und dann der Knopf über der Brust zu sehr spannt. Naja, am Ende hat alles gepasst, eigentlich ist das Kleid ein bisschen zu groß. Ich kann es jetzt eh nicht mehr ändern also werde ich damit leben.

Finale no. 2 - Little Black Laurel

Hello again! Here's my second dress that I made during the holiday dress sew along - a little black dress using the Laurel pattern by Colette. Again, first the details:

Pattern: Laurel by Colette Patterns, version 1

Fabric:  black Polyester Crepe (EUR 5,-  per metre) and  some silky golden lining (EUR 6,- per metre. Sorry, I don't know how it's called) both from Alfatex)

Size: 12

Alterations: narrow shoulder adjustment, lengthened the sleeves by 12 cm, added a woven border at the hem, joined the lining and the shell at the neckline instead of finishing it with bias binding, added two small darts at the rear neckline.

So, hier nun auch mein zweites Weihnachtskleid, das ich eigentlich als erstes genäht habe. Da ich im Sew-Along schon alles darüber geschrieben habe, bleibt wieder nicht viel zu sagen. Ich lasse Bilder sprechen - mit denen ich leider ganz und gar nicht zufrieden bin. Gestern öffnete sich nur ein kurzes Zeitfenster zum Fotografieren, in dem es aber leider auch schon wieder zu dunkel war. 

Ich habe das Kleid gestern Abend schon zu einer Familienfeier getragen und mich pudelwohl gefühlt. Ich habe eine Menge Komplimente bekommen - auch schon bevor die Bewunderer wussten, dass das Kleid selbst genäht ist! 

Ich bin mit meinen beiden Weihnachtskleidern wirklich außerordentlich zufrieden und bin froh, dass ich beim Sew-Along mitgemacht habe.  Katharina hat die ganze Zeit über ganz hervorragend und charmant moderiert. Vielen Dank dafür! Es war spannend zu sehen, welche Ideen/Pläne/Problemchen alle anderen Teilnehmerinnen so hatten. Und jetzt freue ich mich so sehr, alle fertigen Weihnachtskelider zu bewundern! The initital inspiration for the dress came from the woven border I had purchased at a local fabric shop. I wanted to use it as a detail on a simple black dress. I had planned to sew the Colette Laurel for a while and here came its chance. The Laurel is such a versatile and easy-to-sew dress! It's not too fitted but the darts in the back give it some shape and a nice silhouette. I only had to narrow the shoulders a bit and added some length to the sleeves. Other than that, I didn't change anything. I made the experience that Colette pattern have quite some ease so I went with a ize 12, which is one size smaller than suggested for my measurements.

 

The instructions tell you to interline the dress and then finish off the neckline with bias binding. I didn't want to do that extra step in the end, so I made two seperate dresses and sewed them together at the neckline. This makes a clean finish but lowers the neckline by the amount of your seam allowance. I'm totally fine with my neckline though.

 

After everything was finished I hemmed the skirt with the machine and sewed on the border by hand on top of the stitching. 

I already wore the dress to a family gathering last night and got a lot of compliments (without telling that it was self-made at first!). I love my Little Black Laurel very much and I already have a dozen of other variations in mind!

Finale no. 1 - Emery Dress

Hi everyone! I'm so, so glad I can finally show you proper photos of my holiday dresses. The German sewers bloggers had a sew along over the past couple of weeks to make your perfect dress for the holidays. I made two dresses and you can view every one of my entries by clicking on the sew along image at the right.

Here's the details on my first dress in a nutshell:

Pattern: Emery Dress by Christine Haynes, purchased from urban cut

Fabric:  Rayon Crepe Georgette (EUR 9,-  per metre from Alfatex)

Size: 14

Alterations: narrow shoulder adjustment, sway back adjustment, redrew the armholes and took sleeves from Colette Laurel, skipped the collar, added a belt instead of the sewn-on bow.

Hallo Zusammen und willkommen zum Finale des Weihnachtskleid Sew-Alongs 2013! Endlich ist es soweit und all die schönen Weihnachtskleider dürfen ausgeführt werden. Ich bin seit Freitagabend bei meinen Lieben in Süddeutschland, die ganze Familie ist schon beieinander und der Baum ist geschmückt. Ich wollte heute eigentlich gerne ein paar Bilder vor weihnachtlicher Deko zeigen. Drinnen ist es aber zu dunkel, ich musste auf den Garten ausweichen. Wir hatten gestern Abend schon eine kleine Familienfeier und das bloggen fällt mir heute schwer. Ich belasse es also ausnahmsweise mal bei wenigen Worten (zumindet für meine Verhältnisse).

Also, ohne große Umschweife, ist hier mein Weihnachtskleid Nummer 1. Es handelt sich um den Schnitt Emery Dress von Christine Haynes. Wenn ihr rechts auf das Logo zum WKSA klickt, bekommt ihr nochmal alle meine Einträge zum Sew-Along angezeigt.

I'm quite in love my Emery Dress! The heavy and soft crepe georgette works well with the gathered skirt and feels fantastic against the skin (the bodice is self-lined). I did two muslins before cutting into the fabric and had to do a couple of alterations but it was definitely worth it. Now that I have my new pattern pieces I will definitely do another version for summer. The pattern also works well as a sleeveless dress.

I made a plain version of the dress without the peter pan collar and the cute bow that comes with the pattern. Instead, I made a belt with a little bow and now I can wear the dress with or without the little extra. That's about it. I simply love it!

Ich mag mein Emery Dress wirklich sehr! Ich musste am Oberteil zwar einige Anpassungen vornehmen, das Nähen ging dann danach aber schnell und problemlos. Und die Anpassungen muss ich beim nächsten Mal ja nicht nochmal machen. Soll heißen: es wird bestimmt noch ein nächstes Mal geben. Bei dieser Version finde ich den Stoff einfach ganz traumhaft. Der Crepe Gerogette ist sehr schwer und fällt sehr weich. Im Rock ist ziemlich stark gekräuselt, was aber mit diesem Stoff trotzdem nicht aufträgt. Ich fühle mich jedenfalls sehr wohl und werde es morgen gleich mal zum Kaffeekränzchen mit Freundinnen anziehen!

The Evergreen Dress (MMM #12)

Who needs a christmas tree when you can look like one? I have a new dress to show and today, you're going to actually see me wearing it! I apologize for posting so many pictures of dresses on my dress form lately and only writing to the German audience. I will do two proper posts with my holiday dresses (a Colette Laurel and an Emery Dress by Christine Haynes) this weekend, I promise! My plan is to take some pictures in my parents' house where it actually looks a bit festive and where they actually have a christmas tree. Until then, I am the only christmas tree on this blog.

Hallo Zusammen! Ich mache euch heute den Weihnachtsbaum und bin noch ein letztes Mal in diesem Jahr beim MMM dabei. Ich zeige euch das jüngste Kleid, das ich genäht habe, und das auch das letzte für dieses Jahr bleiben wird. Zum Ende meines ersten Jahres als Näherin und Bloggerin wäre jetzt eine Retropsektive sicherlich angebracht. Ich glaube, ich nutze die Zeit ohne Nähmaschine an den Feiertagen (schnief) um mal runterzukommen, in Ruhe zurückzuschauen und verschiebe diesen Post aufs nächste Jahr. 

I have the goal to become a bit more structured on this blog, so I'm going to give you the details first:

Pattern: burda 7034 (on the German burda website it's downloadable, in the US it seems to be only available in print)
Fabric:  viscose Jersey from the local shop in dark green/teal (EUR 15,- per metre), I used 2.5 metres

Size: around 42

Alterations: raised the armholes, took sleeve pattern from this dress, did a narrow-shoulder adjustment, lengthened the bodice by 2cm, shortened the skirt by ca. 7 cm, used facings instead of lining the bodice

 

Für das nächste Jahr habe ich mir auf jeden Fall schonmal vorgenommen, ein bisschen strukturierter vorzugehen, deswegen fange ich mal gleich an und gebe euch die wichtigen Info zum Kleid direkt: 

 

Schnitt: burda 7034

Stoff: tannengrüner Viskosejersey (EUR 15,-/m), ich habe 2,5 m gebraucht

Größe: ungefähr 42

Anpassungen:  Armausschnitte verkleinert und höher gesetzt, die Ärmel von diesem Kleid übernommen, Schultern verschmälert, Oberteil um 2cm verlängert, Rock um ca. 7 cm verkürzt, Belege am Halsauschnitt statt Futter

 

At the beginning of this project, there was the fabric. I saw this fabric at a local store and had to buy it. It's a rayon knit with some elasthane and a bit of nylon. The texture is almost like a neoprene but it feels soft and silky. It has some stretch but only when you pull at it. The skirt of the dress is quite heavy but it still doesn't pull the entire dress down. The colour is actually a bit greener (and less blue) than it looks in the pictures. Although I took pictures in the middle of the day, I still had to use a flash and therefore the pictures are all a bit crappy. 

Ganz am Anfang war der Stoff. Ich habe diesen bei Stoffe Müller in Köln erstanden, der war für mich ein Must-have. Ich will unbedingt mehr grüne Kleider haben und tragen, denn die stehen mir ganz gut, wie ich finde. Die Farbe ist eigentlich ein bisschen grüner und weniger blau als auf den Bildern. Trotz Tageslicht musste ich beim Fotografieren blitzen, deswegen ist mal wieder alles ein bisschen von der Realität entrückt. Es handelt sich um einen stabilen Viskosejersey mit Elasthan und einem bisschen Nylon. Er ähnelt einem Neopren, ist aber dünner, weicher und seidiger. Er ist natürlich stretchig, aber nur wenn man dran zieht. Der Rock am Kleid ist ziemlich schwer, zieht das Kleid aber nicht runter. Die Qualität ist wirklich einsame spitze, dafür gebe ich gerne auch 15,- Euro den Meter aus. 

 
My inspiration for the dress was this, a simple skater dress with a circle skirt. However, I knew that I needed at least some darts in the bodice. I also drew a half circle skirt only to realize that I didn't have enough fabric for the length I wanted/needed. Then I came across this dress Katie made, for which she also used a knit fabric. She had used the burda pattern 7034 (the "x-shape dress" - don't know what this is about) and transformed it into something wearable and casual. I mean, that pink fabric that looks like a candy wrapping paper? Come on, burda!

Ich hatte für den Stoff so etwas im Sinn. Allerdings wusste ich, dass ich trotz Stretch mindestens ein paar Abnäher für die Kurven brauche. Ich hätte auch gerne einen halben Tellerrock gehabt, aber für die gewünschte Länge hätte die Stoffmenge nicht gereicht. Beim Herumstöbern ist mir dann dieses Kleid von Katie untergekommen, das ebenfalls aus einem stabileren Stretch gemacht ist. Sie hatte den Schnitt burda 7034 (das Cinderella-Kleid) komplett verwandelt und tragbar gemacht. Mittlerweile habe ich einige schöne und tragbare Versionen gesehen, auch beim WKSA haben sich ja manche diesen Schnitt ausgesucht. Der Schnitt ist so simpel und wandelbar, aber da muss man erstmal drauf kommen nachdem man sich vor Schreck vor dem Bonboneinwickelpapierstoff weggedreht hat.

I checked on my dress form if the pleats looked ok with my thick fabric and they did. The skirt probably isn't made for more pear-shaped girls but I don't mind a bit of volume around my hips. I didn't do a muslin due to sheer lazyness. I just had a look at the bodice pattern pieces and changed some things directly after comparing them to other patterns that fit me well. I raised the armhole and made it quite small. I did an NSA because I always have to and I lenghthened the bodice by 2 cm just to be on the safe side. I didn't want to line the dress, so I drew some neckline facings with my new pattern pieces.

Bevor ich mit dem Schnitt losgelegt habe, habe ich noch an der Puppe drapiert um zu checken, wie die tiefen Falten sich mit dem dicken Stoff machen. Natürlich trägt der Rock an den Hüften ein gutes Stück auf, aber das ist bei mir nicht das Problem (dafür kann ich keine Bleistiftröcke tragen). Ein Probeteil hab ich nicht gemacht, dafür einfach direkt am den Schnitteilen - unter Zuhilfenahme anderer, passender Schnitte - Änderungen vorgenommen. Ich habe die Schultern verschmälert, weil ich das sowieso immer machen muss. Dann habe ich noch die Armlöcher so klein wie möglich gemacht und die Ärmel von diesem Ottobre-Kleid übernommen. Das Oberteil habe ich einfach mal zur Sicherheit um 2cm verlängert. Ein Futter kam nicht in Frage, also habe ich mir mit den geänderten Schnittteilen gleich noch Belege gezeichnet. 

Originally I had cut a size 44 like ususal. Burda says I am a 48 and I always, always cut a 44 just to make the garment even smaller in the end. That's what happened with this dress as well. Of course, with the knit fabric I could've gone with a 42 right away. Instead, I basted the bodice together and then took in the side seams by about 1 cm on each side and also cut off about 1 cm at the center back. When sewing the bodice for real, I inserted the sleeves before closing the side seams. Then it fit me like a glove and the rest was a breeze. I am quite satisfied with my pleats and my invisible zipper. The facings worked out well and are not visible on the outside. To even add more invisibility, I hemmed both the sleeves and the skirt by hand. I'm really glad I did that extra step because when I hem knits with my machine, it always stretches the fabric.

I hatte ursprünglich eine 44 zugeschnitten, so wie immer bei Burda. Die meinen übrigens, ich wäre eine 48. Ich nähe dann trotzdem immer eine 44 und mache am Ende doch noch mal was enger. Das war auch hier, gerade mit dem Stretch, der Fall. Ich habe das Oberteil erstmal geheftet, dann nochmal jeweils 1 cm an den Seiten und auch an der hinteren Mittelnaht weggenommen. Bevor ich dann wirklich das Oberteil zuammengenäht habe, habe ich die Ärmel flach liegend angenäht. Das Kleid passt jetzt wie angegossen. Der Rest war ein Kinderspiel - ich bin auch ziemlich zufrieden mit den Falten und mit dem sehr unsichtbaren unsichtbaren Reißverschluss. Die Belege waren eine gute Idee und drücken sich auch nicht nach außen durch. Um die "Unsichtbarkeit" weiter durchzuziehen, habe ich dann sowohl die Ärmel als auch den Rock von Hand mit einem ganz lockeren Stich von innen gesäumt. Ich bin froh, dass ich mir die Mühe gemacht habe. Leider kann ich nämlich an meiner Nähmaschine den Nähfußdruck nicht verringern, und wenn ich Jersey mit z.B. der Zwillingsnadel säume, dann wird der Stoff immer ein bisschen gedehnt und wellt sich dann. Das wäre ja bei dem Rock total doof gekommen, nicht war? 

Oh my, this post wasn't supposed to become so long. Just one more thing though. I used some left-over viscose fabric from an upcycling project I never showed you for the pockets. The white pattern on the black fabric is actually just some dots that maybe form some sort of flower. But when my boyfriend saw the fabric for the first time he instantly said "these are storm troopers, don't you see it!?". Haha, since then I cannot see anything else on the fabric than an army of storm troopers.

Ohje, jetzt ist der Post schon wieder so lang geworden, dabei muss ich doch noch eine MMM-Tour machen. Ein letztes Wort zu den Taschen - ja, das Kleid hat auch Taschen. Ich habe dafür ein paar Reste von einem Upcycling-Projekt genommen, eine schwarze Viscose mit kleinen weißen Punkten. Ich konnte darauf nicht wirklich ein Muster erkennen, aber als mein Freund den Stoff sah, sagte er gleich: "Das sind doch Sturmtruppler, siehst du das nicht!?". Seitdem kann ich auf dem Stoff nichts anderes mehr erkennen als eine Armee von Sturmtrupplern. Ich hab jetzt also echt voll die Nerd-Taschen! 

Ok, das war es jetzt aber echt. Ich schaue mal noch beim MMM vorbei und lasse mich berieseln, mehr geht heute nicht mehr!

WIP / Weihnachtskleid-Sew-Along V

One more post only in German - bear with me until next week to get all details on my holiday dresses! 

Hallo zusammen an diesem dritten Advent und zum fünften Teil des Weihnachtskleid-Sew-Alongs 2013. Meine beiden Weihnachtskleider sind ja bereits fertig und wurden letzte Woche schon an der Puppe bzw. dem Bügel präsentiert. Der heutige Termin steht unter dem Motto:

WKSA Teil 5:
Nur noch der Saum! / Ich könnte hier nochmal nachbessern / Ich bin fertig, zeige aber noch nichts / Ich bin ein Streber und nähe jetzt noch ein Tüdeldü für meine drei Weihnachtskleider.

Auf mich trifft wohl letzteres zu, obwohl nur noch das Emery Dress ein bisschen Tüdeldü bekommen hat, nämlich ein Gürtelchen. Ich hatte beim Betty Barclay-Stoffverkauf in Nußloch ein paar Gürtelschnallen und sonstiges Zubehör mitgenommen, aus denen sich ganz schnell passende Accessoires zu Kleidern zaubern lassen. Da sollte man wirklich immer zugreifen!
 

Ich habe diesen rostroten Stoff genommen - irgendein Polyesterzeugs in Wildlederoptik und einen Streifen davon mit Bügeleinlage verstärkt. Dann die langen Kanten zusammengenäht, gewendet, gebügelt und links und rechts an ein Teil der Gürtelschnalle genäht. 

Beziehungsweise erst habe ich fast alle oberen Schritte ausgeführt, den Gürtel nur an einer Seite angenäht und nochmal direkt an der Taille nachgemessen, wie lang er sein muss. Dann beherzt abgeschnitten und gemerkt, dass ich das falsche Ende abgeschnitten hatte. Ups! Dann hab ich nochmal von vorne angefangen...

Ähm, hoppla.

Aus dem langen Schlauch des ersten Gürtelversuchs ist das aber auch noch etwas geworden: Achtung, jetzt kommts - ein Tüdeldü für`s Tüdeldü. 

Ich kann den Gürtel nämlich blanko tragen UND dann noch ein Schleifchen dranklämmen. Das Emery Dress sieht ja in einer Variante tatsächlich ein (angenähtes) Schleifchen vor. Ich bin ja nicht so der Niedlichkeits-Fanatiker. Wenn mir jetzt aber doch mal danach ist, kann ich das Schleifchen dann doch noch über den Gürtel streifen.

Ansonsten versuche ich immernoch, mich nicht doch noch stressen zu lassen. Die Umstände sind widrig, weil es anscheinden viele Menschen gibt, die glauben, am 24.12. geht die Welt unter. Und alles, was man vorher nicht erledigt oder erlebt hat, wird auch niemals nie geschehen. Da ich aber auch ab nächstem Freitag wohl fast zwei Wochen in der Bundesrepublik unterwegs sein werde, muss auch ich noch an ein paar Dinge denken. So habe ich mir aus den USA eine neue Brille bestellt, die jetzt leider beim Zollamt abgeholt werden möchte. Da kann sie ja nunmal nicht bleiben, so alleine über die Feiertage.

Außerdem zerbreche ich mir noch den Kopf darüber, wie, wo und wann ich denn jetzt eigentlich die Weihnachtskleider ansprechend für das große Finale fotografiere. Die Gelegenheit mit Weihnachtsbaum kommt erst nächsten Samstag bei meinen Eltern. Mal sehen, ob ich es bis zur letzten Minute hinausschiebe. Passende Strumpfhosen und (neue :-)) Schuhe liegen schon bereit.

Trotz allem habe ich in der letzten Woche noch ein Kleid genäht (öhöm). Das zeige ich dann wahrscheinlich am Mittwoch. Gestern und heute habe ich mich den selbstgemachten Weihnachtsgeschenken gewidmet - bzw. wir. Mein Freund hat kräftig mitgeholfen, was auch mal ganz schön war.

WIP / Weihnachtskleid-Sew-Along IV

English readers only get photos today! I will give you details on both my holiday dresses in the finale on 22nd on December! 

Ich sage es einfach schnell und ducke mich weg - beide Weihnachtskleider sind fertig und hängen da jetzt so rum. Heute ist der vierte Termin des Weihnachtskleid-Sew-Alongs, wie immer unter der Schirmherrschaft der bezaubernden Katharina.

Ich mache dann heute noch einen Gürtel für das zweite Weihnachtskleid, dann habe ich nächste Woche noch etwas zu berichten. Zwischendurch habe ich mir Gedanken gemacht, ob ich mir für die festlichen Tage und einen so großen Sew-Along nicht zu simple Projekte ausgesucht habe. Allerdings liebe ich meine beiden Kleider jetzt schon wirklich ganz dolle und ich weiß, dass ich sie gerne anziehen werde. Ich habe mir dafür bei der Enstehung wirklich Mühe gegeben und beide Kleider sitzen optimal. Tragebilder spare ich mir für's Finale am 22.12. auf, dann bleibt es wenigstens noch ein bisschen spannend.

Zum Nachlesen gibt es hier meine Einträge eins, zwei und drei.

Am Weihnachtskleid 1, ein Laurel von Colette, habe ich mich gegen eine Bordüre an den Ärmeln entschieden, das war mir dann doch ein bisschen zu opulent. Die Ärmel habe ich mit einem nach innen geschlagenen Schrägband gesäumt weil ich nicht mehr viel an Länge verlieren wollte.

Weihnachtskleid 2, ein Emery Dress von Christine Haynes, ist auch schon fix und fertig und ich finde es spitzenklasse. Der Crepe Georgette fühlt sich sehr angenehm an, der ist weich aber schwer und fällt ganz toll. Für den gerafften Rock eignet sich der Stoff optimal, da er wenig aufträgt. Das Kleid hat sogar Taschen in der Seitennaht, das sieht man von außen gar nicht.

Vor Beginn des Sew-Alongs habe ich mir endlich mal einen Nähfuß für verdeckte Reißverschlüsse gegönnt und bei diesem Kleid das erste Mal einen tatsächlich unsichtbaren RV hinbekommen. Der Abschluss oben ist mir nicht perfekt gelungen, der Stand ziemlich weit auf. Also habe ich innen auch noch von Hand ein Häkchen und eine Öse angenäht.

Vor dem Einnähen des RV habe ich noch ein bisschen gezögert und mir Sorgen gemacht, dass ich das bei dem flutschigen Stoff nicht ordentlich hinbekomme. Zum Glück veranstaltet Christine gerade einen SEHR ausführlichen Sew-Along zum Emery Dress auf ihrem Blog. Eigentlich ist für das Kleid nicht allzuviel Anleitung nötig, aber ich habe mich trotzdem mal durchgeklickt. Und siehe da, sie hatte just den richtigen Tipp für meinen RV geliefert. Sie riet, einfach einen Streifen Gewebeinlage in der Länge des RV entlang der hinteren Mittelnaht aufzubügeln. So hab ich das dann gemacht und so konnte ich den RV ganz einfach feststecken und einnähen. Das macht das Ganze natürlich auch ein bisschen stabiler und ich muss mir beim Öffnen und Schließen keine Gedanken machen.

Mehr gibt es zur Konstruktion eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Die Armlöcher und Ärmel habe ich ja vom Laurel übernommen. Die sitzen schön hoch und eng, da braucht man gar nicht viel einfassen. Die sind also auch einfach mirnichtsdirnichts in das Kleid geflutscht. Und ich kann meine Arme in alle Richtungen bewegen! Yeah!

Wenn es überhaupt einen Wermutstropfen gibt, dann, dass ich das Kleid gerne eine bisschen länger gehabt hätte. Ungesäumt hing es bis kurz unters Knie, das hat ganz gut zur Silhouette gepasst. Ich musste dann noch ein bisschen was begradigen und habe nur ganz wenig umgeschlagen. Jetzt sitzt es also ein bisschen überm Knie. Das ist natürlich generell immer noch lang genug! 

Und sonst so? Am Freitag habe ich mir einen ganzen Tag Zeit nur für mich genommen, unter anderem um das Emery fertig zu nähen und noch ein bisschen Nachschub im Stoffladen zu besorgen. Außerdem war ich beim Friseur und habe mich auch festtagstauglich herrichten lassen. Bei meinem (neuen) Friseur haben sie alte Nähmaschinentische als Frisiertische, ist das nicht toll? Und hier das Nachher-Bild. Dazu habe ich mich im Stoffladen hinter einer Säule versteckt. Ich hoffe sehr, dass mich dabei niemand beobachtet hat. 

Ab sind sie, die Haare! Auf dem Bild sieht man auch mal wieder meinen selbst-genähten Mantel, den ich noch ordentlich hier vorstellen muss. Leider gestaltet sich das mit dem Fotografieren zurzeit ein bisschen schwierig - drinnen ist es zu dunkel und draußen zu nass.

Naja, in 13 Tagen ist schon Wintersonnenwende, dann geht es wieder bergauf :-)

In diesem Sinne: haltet durch, lasst euch nicht stressen und genießt die Vorweihnachtszeit. Ich gehe dann mal schauen, was beim WKSA so los ist!
